Once the milling machine was bought for the community in Tanzania a building was required for it.  This has been built by the community away from the classrooms to prevent noise and now we are in the process of connecting the electricity for them.  Tanesco have been out to check the installation which required the machine to be fixed to the floor and to check the electrical specifications within the building and are just waiting for some parts before completing the connection.  They are now able to employ someone to mill on their behalf and all proceeds will go to resources within the school and not staff or government.

This will enable the schools to buy maize much cheaper and therefore it will be easier for them to feed the students even when there is a drought or problems with crops which make them more expensive.
